I'm an Senior eLearning Developer at Tableau, and a member of the Training Curriculum team. My job is to help customers succeed by creating virtual training and curriculum. In the last few years, I have been working in education, primarily as a content developer working to create curriculum in health, IT, and health IT. Before that, I earned a PhD in molecular virology for work in drug discovery. I was looking for a way to bring my love of education to a more analytical environment, so imagine how happy I was when I found Tableau!
I'd like to help you explore your data, and understand what you are seeing. I'd love to bring my background as scientist to help you make sure you are doing and presenting the best type of analysis for your data. I'd like to help you and your organization develop the skills and identify the resources you'll want to be successful with Tableau in the future.
I’m most interested in working with organizations that focus on science, education, homelessness, hunger, or bicycling. Regardless, contact me if you think your project would be a good fit!
I've held roles on non-profit boards before, so I know that it can be hard to feel like you are "ready" to move into analysis, or start training. You'll always want more resources, but we can do some good with what you have. Often you should start analysis before you are done collecting all your data, gathering all your resources or what have you, to make sure you are headed the right direction.
I'm based in the Seattle area (east side). If we can meet in person, I would love that, but I've worked on virtual teams before, and worked virtually with other non-profits. Don't hesitate to reach out!
